The air tank is best installed over head. In this case the tank is bolted to a wooden platform and the assembly ls then installed over head any where ( mostly in the engine room ).

2-Filter/Lubricator/Regulator Unit

Install the filter/lubricator/regulator on any vertical partition or bulkhead. one clearance below the bottom of the unit must be at least 8" to allow disassembly. The unit should be located in an easily accessible position to check the oil level and top at as required.

3-Control Unit

Install the control unit on a transverse bulkhead or partition so that the unit is facing either forward or aft. the position of the control unit should be selected as close as possible to the vessel center line so that the length of the tubing running to the fin units are short and almost of the same length. Also it should be as high as possible.
